I'm less happy with the conclusion of this arc than I was for the middle of it, I think the issue is that I don't find Tsuyoshi rampaging around as fun as the pure martial arts stuff and to have the whole tournament basically deemed a waste of time was - well, you're telling the audience that you wasted their time, essentially.

I think the highlight was Teru beating Tsuyoshi but having the author go "nope didn't count" even though Tsuyoshi already had two reasons to lose was a bit disappointing. Especially just to have a jackoff session about America ruling Japan or whatever.

I definitely feel that Tamagahane should have been beaten by one of either Teru or karate bro. At least then it would feel like the Americans actually rigged the tournament with Kagiyan's deception, as it is it feels like the OC lost mainly because of Tsuyoshi's mum.
