Considering Abe Shinzo and Trump are in this chapter, it's been ongoing since 2018, and most importantly the Tokyo Olympics haven't happened yet, I'm pretty sure none of that applies to this story."There's no wars in this age" says the agent of a country currently at war "It's just one on one fights" proclaims the man who is part of a government who sent hundreds of thousands of soldiers to invade a sovereign nation.
Nearly every chapter this series becomes more and more of a joke
Honestly fair. This seems to count as a period piece as opposed to modern given the shit in global happenstance.Considering Abe Shinzo and Trump are in this chapter, it's been ongoing since 2018, and most importantly the Tokyo Olympics haven't happened yet, I'm pretty sure none of that applies to this story.
It’s almost refreshing in a way to have a story where Japan is lagging behindPretty surprising that this manga takes a shot at Japan's political power on the world stage, albeit through this fantastical martial arts proxy war plot. Like the comparison to Kengan and Baki, you'd expect the tone to dictate that Japan is Number 1 undefeated folded 10,000 times, but instead we have the other Eastern Hemisphere powers at work making a play for an anomaly present in Japan.
In a world where you can become an important political piece backed by your entire country its bound to feed the ego of anyone talented enough to be chosen for the proxy warsGod this Russian guy is such a pretentious asshole
