Comment section filled with moral grandstanding busybodies complaining bout the MC. Manga rating 8.04/10. Either y'all are just a vocal minority, or you're terrible at playing the moral crusader and can't cover your tracks well.

This was/is in the recommended feed at the top of the site, and I tend to give those a chance, as do many people which is probably why there are more than the usual comments compared to a similar title.

I'm not against suggestive manga or hentai, but my main point of contention is that this is clearly meant to be a light, low stakes series with slice-of-life and minor supernatural elements. The MC also isn't meant to be morally grey or anti-hero or have a redemption arc. This also isn't framed as a 'lucky pervert' ecchi-type series, so why taint the MC right off the bat for shock value like that?

Imagine instead the MC kicked a puppy in chapter 1. Even if the puppy 'forgives' him like the FMC did, he still kicked the puppy, and if the story doesn't address it properly it feels like it's brushing over something pretty important.
