as a queer person myself who, unfortunately is crushing on someone who is dating another of the opposite sex, i can’t help but relate… but when you’re so in love with someone who you know you’ll never have a chance with, the second best you can settle for is rooting for them and just wishing for their happiness. sometimes listening and helping their already happy relationship is good enough.
