As for “delegate,” I thought it was appropriate to use it to avoid making the sentence longer, but essentially “delegate” and “class rep” mean the same thing, In any case, if you prefer that I use “delegate” instead of “class rep,” I can do that. No, I prefer class rep. It's the common translation.
Delegate is too fancy for a role in a high school class. But more importantly, it should be consistent. It's weird that you used class rep in ch 1, but then you changed it in ch 2.
