Talk about a mature chapter. This is one of the reasons I like about Kanako and she's my favorite character in this series. She does play a strong role in helping Ueno and Chisaki think critically about themselves and the relationship between each other. That is not simple bullying that is going, but a more complex relationship brewing underneath.
Now, Chisaki claims repeatedly throughout the story she doesn't like Ueno, but in this chapter, she doesn't deny that she's dependent on Ueno. After all, he still is the only person to make her feel aroused. If Chisaki can break her dependence on him, it will be a lot easier for her to leave Ueno in peace and for him to break his programming.
I'm still wondering what will the author plans involving Kanako and Ueno. Kanako should feel content that Ueno is dating Moka and avoiding Chisaki the best he can but it's not a victory if Chisaki is unable to let Ueno go and date Kanako instead.
