Its simple
Im mainly using photoshop for the editing and typesetting.
when cleaning, im just using brush to remove the text inside bubble text, and using content-fill aware feature provided by photoshop to remove the text outside bubble text.
and for typesetting, you're free to use what font you want but the font must be easy to read. (many people use CC WindWords for typesetting font)
Also, I have little bit knowledge about japanese and kanji, but when i'm encounter the kanji that I dont know, Im just draw it using this web sljfaq, then copy paste the kanji into this web jisho to know its meaning.
I'm also using ChatGPT and DeepL for better undertanding about the context.
and for proofreading, its just from my experience writing some stuff.

welp, its because im also posting my translation there, so it got detected as spam or something. at first Im only got warning, then boom got 30 days ban.
