After reading a bit on history of Sakura Laurel, he was almost euthanised after Arc….

Yeah, it’s sad because he lost Arc at 8th place with her flexor tendon insufficiency so he was about to retire. Due to misinterpretation he was that close from being put down until someone that knows both Japanese and French cleared that situation.
