Thanks for the chapter ! Always a pleasure reading this wonderful manga, and this chapter particularly spoke to me.
I tried searching and asking around for the movie poster but found nothing this time, so i hope impatiently that someone will find it ! Even without knowing what it is, i love the visual and find/believe some Magritte inspiration in it (specifically the rock/boulder flying on top, very Rene Magritte core !)

The first half of this chapter felt so much lighter than usual that I wasn't expecting the emotional heel turn in the second half.

Talent can be a catalyst, but you can't get anywhere without puttingt the time and work into it. I wish I'd known that a lot earlier in life, but I'm glad Umiko was able to bring perspective into it to comfort the girls.

Then that theme of rejection continues once we find out that Umiko's film submission didn't make the cut. Rejection can hit really hard and cut you off at the knees, but I believe in Umiko. Although it doesn't feel great in the now, she has the emotional capability to channel that into her art. As hard as it is, she just needs to keep working at it. That's about all we can do.

Thank you for the chapter. This series has a lot of emotional takeaways that I should be putting more effort into actually incorporating into my own life. It can get kind of heavy at times, but it always puts me in a thoughtful mood. I always appreciate reading it.

Thank you for working on and sharing this. We're getting a bit of an early summer in my neck of the woods and the weather's slowly becoming unbearably hot. I hope the weather is more manageable where you are or that you at least have a lot of nice places to cool off as needed. Take care and I hope you have a wonderful June :)

That cosplayer's insecurities (I forgot her name) are something that I've thought many times too. I appreciate the lesson of this time: it's above all about your willingness to do it, to put the work in, you can do it and you have the time, but the time isn't limitless, it'll end some day.

I've read a manhwa recently that has a very similar theme: "Navillera: Like a Butterfly". It's a beautiful manhwa that I highly recommend about a man pursuing his dream of learning ballet at the age of 70.

This chapter also reminded me of the first time I participated in a competition as a teen and my group made a big mistake. We were crushed, but one of the adults with us told us to feel all the negative emotions, the anger, the disappointment, and then use it to fuel our determination to practice harder and to do better next time. And that's what I hope Umiko will do (well, expect because I can't imagine how the manga will go on otherwise). She's still alive, still healthy. She might not have as much time as her young classmates, but she still has it.

Thanks for the chapter!
