I like that the deception wasn't something that was just glossed over, but I also enjoy that it wasn't turned into some prolonged drama. I'm glad she's going to continue to love Qi Nian as she has... but gotta say I'm looking forward to whatever revenge she plans on getting for the deception

I mean surely you understand the reasoning behind the "deception"? And its not like Nian actively tried to get in to your pants or anything. It was all you. There was no way for her to know that you would be ok with it (and now, as we've seen, you weren't. Not initially). You built her up in your mind/dreams and now disappointed that its not exactly as you hoped it to be. Sounds like a you problem overall considering otherside is the freaking Emperor not some highshcool girl trying to get by.

Which is a funny joke, but I actually like the realism of it? She does not just let it go, but just like in real relationships she is fighting with her feelings of wanting to be close to her majesty while being hurt by her actions causing her to habitually seek out the happy behaviours they once did before remembering things have changed. Relationships are messy and it is both natural and completely okay to love & cherish someone who makes you happy, while being angry at them for being stupid, not trusting you, or even breaking your trust. It often is not logical either like seen here. She knows her majesty has her reasons and it is obviously a complex situation, but she is still upset because she feels her majesty does not trust her since even now no one has told her the truth. So it comes off as very realistic to struggle to stay angry at someone you love that clearly has their own circumstances and did not tell you to not hurt you.
