What an ass ending. Having read the LN ending it doesn't get any better, so I'll leave the story as is. Still, the last seven or so chapters got much shorter, just ten pages each, and felt more like three regular chapters. I would've been fine with one or two more chapters to at least finish the battle, but apparently even that was too much.
Disappointing ending, generic character design, too many "hero scenes" where the MC says something obvious yet the supposedly smart girl is completely taken aback. The only interesting part was the intrigue in the London cityline and Oriental magic shaking up European ways of doing magic. Sadly the story didn't explore that more, so all I' left with is a generic story that has a bad ending.
