For all that ppl are complaining about the issues of this manga (I started it cause it said jp originalLang, so a bit annoyed its stil la manwha instead), I must commend it for the one thing it did interesting: this is the first "betrayed and now i'm OP" story I have seen where the mc is should be happy that he was betrayed. After all, the setting is that humans are losing against monsters, mc is an orphan and his whole identity is vengeance against said monsters. He was doing any low-paying job he could just to support the ones who can aid his vengeance in place of himself, including ones that will obviously lead to his death before long. And then by simply sacrificing his life, 2 combat-ready personal would be spared (0 otherwise, so wasn't even a "me or them" situation, even if the logic still checks out either case) and could continue fighting for the cause he believes in. Probably even learning a lesson from it, tempering their impatience so they have a chance to do even more damage to the monsters than they otherwise would have. His life was a net-gain in terms of the value function mc lived for.
