With this Haiji chapter, our three slice-of-life chapters are completed. I wonder if Under Doctor is thus preparing to kick into main plot mode. I see the series possibly introducing an overarching villain or providing an objective that is more concrete and near-term than "cure Haiji's sick friend." I'm excited to see where this goes; hopefully the series settles into a rhythm.
This chapter was solid. Probably my least favorite of the downtime chapters, but that is more so because the other two are really quite charming while this one was just all right.
I wish we got to see more of the doctor stuff: Shuli's chapter was great! I guess this is a downside to Haiji's genius doctor skills: he knows what he is doing while the readers do not.
