So neat that this story of cock-swinging and kunoichi poisoning gives the background on how Kato, Onikobe, Ozu, and Suzuki wound up in the jobs they had at the start. Also LOL that Taira works for is Ranran's pet, I'd assumed he was sexually harassing his underling when it is the total opposite

Also, I can't remember whether we've seen Ozu before .

Ozu is the Ninja who worked in the city offices at the start of the story. He's always in short shorts, even in this flashback - and has excellent eyesight (in the flashback he can see Suzuki and the teacher tracking Kato while Taira can't - towards the middle of the story he could see the kunoichi twins attacking cars on the city bridge all the way from his office).

At this point I'm really wondering if Kashin Koji is not just one person, but all the apartment inhabitants, OR maybe the apartment itself. It was nice to see Kato's backstory, and why his connection to Onikobe was so deep in the beginning.
