Really not sure how they gonna get out of this one, as much as it would be funny for absolute unit that is Daidai to appear, i feel like it's either going to be Hama somehow, or more likely for me, Tokiko/possesed Chacha. Considering their talk at the first chapter, don't think Q would sweat a lot to enter the community.

Love the twin use of darkness and linework on Sei-chan as she grows increasingly disturbed. First a fully formed drawing, then an inked shadow, then literally a scribble of thick black marker. It's a wonderful visual representation of the character literally unraveling.

And then for her to be literally just black and white, the tears and the sclera of her eyes the only things distinguished, and within that her irises... It's just such a striking visual design that I might have expected it from someone... better paid? It's just such a treat to have such care and attention brought to the art style of a manga. Never change, Taguchi Shoutarou.

I do love that a horror can be so complete, it even wipes our our familiar format.

To me the most dangerous part of this chapter, honestly, is the parts that are pretty normal cult behavior. Isolating. Using information about the worst part of your life against you. Love-bombing you and promising relief when you're at your lowest. Isolating you further...
