Wow Draco is one Sexy Holy Knight in Bikini Armor 😍❤️🔥💯. If I was sent to another world my harem would be: Female Warrior Luca, S&M Queen Olga, Princess Samurai Tomoe, Holy Knight Draco, and Merchant Ibiza.

A Sexy Bikini Armor Knight carrying a big sword like Guts from Berserk. Honestly I wish she was my wife 😍.

I get the characterization(she's really enjoying being protected and worried about, she wants the fluffy and simple love story), and the setup makes for a fun ride, but I wonder how far they can push it without the audience turning on her. Cause, like... the reason her husbando is doing the things he's doing is because of his actual, real-ass emotions and feelings of responsibility, wanting to protect and provide for his wife. That she doesn't need any of this and is just enjoying the performance IS dishonest, but also kind of feels exploitative, manipulative, and condescending.

For her, he's providing something she's never gotten so she doesn't want to let it go. But he's not, like... actually doing that, he's not actually protecting her. Just trying, and she finds it intoxicating that he does, but she doesn't need him to do this. She's trying to wrap all this up so she can continue her life where she doesn't fully show herself to her husband. There's a critique there of how women are supposed to perform, except its undermined by the fact that not only is SHE the greatest hero, there's also examples of people just like her.

Great art, fun idea, good execution... but I don't know if it can stand up to a long format. The longer this goes the more the unsavory ideas lodged within surface.

The Shadow brother's Secret Technique is an homage to the Black Tri-Stars special attack "Jet Stream Attack" from the original Gundam
Hell yeah! I've rewatching Gundam 0079 because of Gundam GQuuuuX and I'm three episodes away from this episode. When I saw it here I lol'd.

You're right! I think there's a lot behind this silly gag manga with the big booby fighter wife. I think we're getting some character conflict between wanting to be pampered after a career of doing the hard labor, with being able to do the pampering. She's getting to experience a new role in life, but to do so has to secretly keep her husband safe.

It's like all the sitcoms where the fat husband has a sexy wife who fixes his mistakes. But-- Instead of the lazy fat husband trope, Ryouta is pretty great at everything except fighting. This makes me think the arc of the story will be coming to terms with their roles in the relationship and in the dungeon. She can be the fighting champion in the dungeon, and he can be the sex champion in the bedroom. A bit non-traditional but it's pretty great!
Sister, that is your cue that your hubby likes his girl stronk and buffed

This is your cue to peg hi- ahem I mean to reveal everything and conquer the dungeon
I think Draco is representing another role for women to perform. She's sexy and powerful. Ryouta is picking up on her strength, making his wife jealous. But I wonder if she doesn't show a flaw in the next chapter. Yui even called her out for not going to fight the demon lord; Maybe Draco abandons them when the going gets tough.

I guess Yui will try to emulate Draco in some way to keep Ryouta's attention, and it will advance their relationship.

Hey wow, this is more thoughtful than I expected after chapter 1. Manga is cooking.

Damn... I got blindsided.

I was accustomed to the stories being made of the male MC getting NTR'd, especially after Isekai Furin 1 and 2.

But I failed to realize, the MC here is the wife. And while she was too loyal and too powerful to be stolen away. Her hubby though... This could still become an NTR manga.

So she's already discovered that her Husband is totally cool with strong women, he might even find it hot, so why not just reveal it to him now? Or does she like being protected and fawned over that much? :dogkek:

If they addressed that as the reason I'm actually down for it. Wouldn't like it but it's a bit more understanding if they emphasize on the fact that her career left her really, really lonely.

It's worth noting the way Yui's previous party treated her - forcing her to fight in the front as the main tank despite her class not being well-suited to the role, just because she was that strong. So she's used to her strength leading to unfair expectations being placed on her, and that's what she's afraid of happening again if her husband finds out her true identity. She could let her husband hang back and solo the dungeon herself, but that would just be recreating the social dynamics she was trying to get away from when she retired, and if she lets the cat out of the bag, would those dynamics remain in the dungeon alone, or would they change her marriage outside of the dungeon in ways she doesn't want?
