Yeah, he didn't name his cat but he didn't have any maliciousness when using the word in regards to cats. He'd refer to all black cats as little n*gger man.
Yep in the Edit, I was trying to say this, I guess I was a bit ambigous.
Dude was a trashbag but he set up one of the greatest collaborative projects of all time. No Lovecraft, no Conan the Barbarian, no Conan the Barbarian, no Stoner Sludge riff monsters from Bristol called Conan, no Conan then who the fuck did I go see the other week while off my chops on cocaine?
Not just Conan, from the perspective of all fiction (not only horror genre) I guess at least %60 would not be there... For example The Pirates of the Caribbean behind the scenes, producers outright says inspiration for Davy Jones was Cthulhu.
Lovecraft was so wonderful at writing about fear of the unknown, there is a term Lovecraftian. There were already numerous of fiction smilar, but name is still Lovecraftian. That is how big of a writer he is.
Dude was a trashbag? Both parents ended up dying asylum, after his father dying, mother's overprotectiveness etc. Not being a trashbag, it is a wonder how he did not end up in asylum. And his fear of unknown and the hate/fear of cold helping creating some of his most wonderful creations, I must say again it is even weird he did not end up in asylum like his parents. That is why I think it is less being a trash being, but being more of a
broken being.
