Ryuusei was a greedy jerk, so BK targeted him and his teammates allowed it - eventually Ryuusei will go broke and his teammates will still have Bios.

Well, it seems like Ryuusei won't have much leverage over the others with this. It's likely that their group will fall apart since betrayal keeps on being brought up. I guess it makes it easier to target Ryuusei since there's no need to guess between a duel or a certain pass like page 16 said so.

It means that after the first round, in case of a miss (against Ryuusei), Baku will then go for Ryuusei's direction in the first round, so it'll end up as a duel at the third round every single time. In a 50/50, since Baku has way more Bios, he can afford this war of attrition so to speak. Maybe this strat doesn't apply to Champ because his group wasn't founded the same way Ryuusei's was.

edit:
I'm retarded but I think it's not a plain 50/50 chance at fucking over Ryuusei because Baku has a 1/4 chance at first round too. So add that to the 50/50 in the 3rd round means in the long run Ryuusei will end up borrowing from the others. I'm not sure it'd end up becoming relevant but I think so seeing as how it was shown that Ryuusei didn't want to redistribute the Bios because it's still his leverage against the others in the group. With that in mind, I'm pretty sure Minoru's going to end up going to Champ's side

Pretty insane actually that the Bios have been redistributed that crazily but the totals haven't changed. It means Baku never fucked up the third round lol

the total amount of Bio lend is 200 to Baku, 400 to Ryuusei team and 400 to Champ team. Right now, Ryuusei team is at 512 (112 total if deducting from 400) and is still at an advantage but once Champ team was able to stand on the same ground with Ryuusei team, it will be a mess. If Ryuusei bet less than Champ team, Champ will be able to use it to their advantage (able to see which is safe and which is not since Ryuusei team strategy is easy to follow.) and keep raising the stake. Once the stake is high enough, Baku can quit as the banker and the current stake will be massive on whoever is the next banker. There is a time limit to end the game so Baku probably amasses a stake so high it will put Ryuusei on a negative (since he is the next banker) and end the game right there. Baku can earn back the Bio he lost from resigning as banker by putting all on the last round and duel Ryuusei but that is just a guess.

@Ominous, Champ's team apparent Charisma Establishment on page 17, from panel 2 to 3 is ridiculously funny, you can make some meme out of it. 😄

More invested in seeing how Champ's team manages to make back 200 bios than in how Baku kicks Ryusei's ass.

Ah, Ryuusei getting fucked by being a greedy, shitty teammate. Wonderful. The banker quitting strategy was quite obvious too, how come no one else realized it besides BK, lol.

I think it's because no one have as many bios as Baku, the players bet too much so they couldn't afford to quit. That's why this idea never came up in their mind.

Edit: Oh. Now that you mention it, Tobita seems quite smug in the last page. He also currenty have the most bios (apart from Baku), he is also greedy (he's the one betting the most bios from the games we saw) and he had a bit of an argument with Ryuusei. He could be the mistake Ryuusei made.

So many smug faces. I love it.

If I was in Tobita's or Pachanga's shoes, considering what happened with Ryuusei, I would probably think of joining Champ's team as the 4th member. But it would only be possible if I knew beforehand that he had formed a 3-players team. So... I kinda wonder when Menma was hired, exactly.

I wonder what is the secret in the lottery bag. There should be nothing noteworthy in it.
