Wow. The amount of times the author refers to the male lead as creepy or irredeemable is hilarious. I assume this is where the comedy comes into play.
If you are looking for a wholesome shojo manga, this is not it. From one of the author end of chapter posts:
In chapter 1, he tries forcing himself on the female lead after offering her a place to crash when she was suddenly homeless and jobless, and the author confirms that he didn't love her at this point, so any of the set-up of the story to make it seem like he had been pining for her this entire time is actually fake.
