I don't get why he hasn't been doing everything he can to collect undeniable evidence there are two of him, because he is going to get screwed by the existence of his evil copy. Sure, if he called the cops over the copy would flee first, but do something. Having friends over would likely be bad since he could kill them and then run; you'd have people who witnessed you invite your friends over, suddenly they're dead with your fingerprints all over the murder weapon(s).

It's weird Ichigo's not trying to clear up there's another person who looks just like him with everyone he knows. He could just tell them he's got a twin brother he never talked about before, because he's embarrassed or something. If Nigo didn't cover up his own pinky, Ichigo could further use that as proof that's a different person.
