Kind of a shame Flecca was knocked out for most of the second half of the manga, only to wake up right at the end.
I'm betting they were planning to feature more of that automaton before the series got canceled, but all things considered, this is still a somewhat satisfying ending, despite me still wanting this world to be expanded upon further. Oh well, I suppose it simply was not to be.
