While I purposely had my translation have Reiha talk as though she and Miyu have met before, in the original Japanese dialouge, she talks as though this were the first time they met. This makes me wonder if this is meant to be a sequel to the original Vampire Princess Miyu manga or a seperate timeline. But I think the creators Toshihiro Hirano and Narumi Kakinouchi are far more likely to provide me with an answer than anyone else because they are the creators of this work. I tried emailing them but I don't think I might get a reply.
