@givemersspls The importance of Nabi vs Rabi, I believe resides in the fact that, while one is her name, the other is a nickname derivated from her name.

Way back in chapter 6, Ho Rang calls Rabi "Nabi" (which means "butterfly"), and ever since we are seeing that everyone calls her "Nabi" instead of her real name. Why is that? Because we are supposed to believe that Yachae and Bom are her close friends, and so, they are permitted to call her that. But, in a way, since they have hidden stuff from her (like Ho Rang suggesting Yachae to be Rabi's friend, or like Bom attempting to be in the same circle as them because she feels guilty of not standing up to her when she was bullied in middle school), well... it feels weird to them... in Yachae's case... he stopped calling her "Nabi" because he hasn't been completely honest with her, and wants to understand her from his own means, not exactly influenced by Ho Rang or someone else.

It's similar as when you give someone else the permission to call you a certain nickname, because you are supposed to be friends with them. But then you start listening someone out of your close friends circle (or family, or whatever) to call you that... but you aren't that close to them. It feels... strange... wrong... because they don't know you, and you don't know them that much either. Besides, that other person might be using that nickname to mock you, too...
