I think that this young girl has learned something very important at an early age. People are a combination of both their strengths and weaknesses, and their good AND bad qualities, along with all their other quirks.
So many romantic relationships do fail because people idealize others and don't understand that everyone's just a flawed human being that can't be expected to be perfect all the time. Hence the trend of "Goblin Mode" where people just act like themselves on date, even if it's a bit sloppy or whatever. It's the opposite of false advertising, and showing what it's really going to be like living with someone every day.
Which is honestly a good thing in my opinion, versus divorcing because he / she "Was so different when we were dating." when in fact, that was just a front. The spouse didn't change after marriage, what happened was that it got too tiring to put up a front and it wasn't necessary anymore.
It's also why sometimes people divorce and regret it when they start dating again, when they realize that no one out there is really all that different, and oft-times, they're worse than the people they left.
