Alright, Jo Heon, you've almost managed to get as scary as reporter Chae when she's about to throw someone under the bus.

Loved the fighting scenes in this chapter. Weight classes matter, feinting and taunting are part and parcel of the dynamics. Just how it should be. And I like that Jiyong isn't so fixated on fighting with his fists and will use projectiles when needed.

As for the punctured lung… eh, he's young and fit, he can probably run on one lung and adrenaline against a one-eyed old man for a while still.

I don't know chief, a punctured lung is some really serious shit, Mr.Bang kinda checkmated him there unless mc is faking it or got something up his sleeve.
That said senior is here, surely he'll go after Mr.Bang and his brother first, at least

Well, Mr Bang is exaggerating. A lung puncture only causes a haemothorax if a vessel is sliced, which is often not the case. Most likely it's a plain pneumothorax, so a collapsed lung. And a pneumothorax is problematic if you don't get medical attention to reinflate the lung, because there may be permanent tissue damage if it stays collapsed. But each lung is insulated from each other in terms of expansion, so the other one isn't that much affected.

The body will respond by breathing faster to make up for the disabled lung, and how much faster the victim can breathe to compensate will depend on a lot of factors, including baseline physical performance, which in Jiyong's case is superathlete-level. He probably can't sustain strenuous exercise for long, but what we call his respiratory reserve is probably quite high. So yeah, he can still settle this in his favour if he fights with his brains, which we know he does.

Problem is that even considering the rest he took before stumbling upon Mr.Bang, MC has been fighting for a few minutes, plus the latent exhaustion from the previous fights.
I guess the fight between Mr.Bang and MC isn't quite as tiring as most normal IRL fights since neither of them is doing busy footwork as they're afraid of eachother, but surely they must still be tired there, especially since they're fighting in moving water
When you add a punctured lung on top, it means even just keeping his arms up is gonna feel like a challenge, much less fight properly
