And since Mr Bang and Soedol were carried away by the water, you can bet that at least one of them survived. Corpses of main characters that are not seen always means there's no corpse in the first place.
Manager Park is quickly turning into the Alfred of this story. Pity that he was introduced so late.
As if Gang-ok would miss this chance to show Jiyong his crazy biking skills…
I wonder whether that fancy restaurant is the only place in Seoul where criminals go for shady deals, or whether Manager Park was just tracking Eom Jaehyeop's movements and informed Gang-ok using coded language.
As for the curveball at the end, I definitely didn't see that coming, but when do I see anything coming in this story? And how corrupt do the police have to be for Miryeo and Seon-uk (poor chap, doesn't even know what's happening) to be captured in the middle of an evacuation, after the two went to them for protection? (It's a rhetorical question.)
Just eight chapters and we're done. Whew, what a ride.

A bit confused why Gang-ok didn't use the car? Was that code for saying it was rigged or trapped?

I think it's just to highlight his "live fast, die young" mentality. This is a man who was smiling during much of the death fight against Soedol and Mr Bang, after all. And well… bikes are more mobile than cars if you're trying to get somewhere as fast as possible.
