Omg, thank you so much for the chapters. I was nearly hopeless when its upload stopped and I can't find this work anywhere (Bilibili had it translated for awhile and then deleted it 😢).

What a wonderful story until the end. Really love it, and the ending is perfect!

Nice ending,
But seriously why did ye zimu even want to go back to his world, everyone he cared for is dead. Sure this is an alternate earth but at least people he knew aren't dead.

A very enjoyable read, glad this one got fully translated, the art is also way on the better end for these kinds of webcomics, with very few being better.

As for the ending... perhaps a little too much is crammed into this arc, it almost feels too sudden:
What about the aliens who are heading towards earth?
How does the original hero live now that everyone he knows and cares about is dead?
Does this world's hero end up going public because of this incident, like the original?
What happens after the city's destruction?
Who does MC see as his romantic partner?
Does the Hero and his father reconcile?

It just seemed it needed a couple of epilogue single frames to answer some of these questions. That said, I feel like the theme of the younger hero finally rescuing MC, rescuing a friend, thus stopping the cause of all of his own suffering is rather good; it just needed a bit more ruminating by the older original hero, but this was fine and still packed weight behind its emotional punch.

All this said, I had commented that the ending of the first volume was a perfect ending, and I'll stick to that; I think it was the better ending

Anyway, thanks for the translations and uploads.

the usb coming back around was nice
I must be a total idiot, but I'm failing to remember what the usb is - it's not the usb with MC's personality is it (like the one the hero crushed)? Like a usb to copy his friends into his own world now?

... and actually, if the hero could have just gone over without the ice bomb... why was all this even an issue? (last moment plot hole pffft :dogkek: )

Much appreciated on the translations! I read this a while back and dropped it when the updates stopped, glad to see it finished! Ending was a little more sudden than I expected but it wrapped it relatively nicely. Thanks again for all your hard work!

The Aliens were never heading towards Earth, they only sent a nuke which both Heroes intercepted.

I'm not sure about the entire wormhole/old hero returning thing either, there's a lot of exposition dumping during the final arcs and the translation were especially rough around those parts. Even after a few reread I had no idea what they actually meant to say.

The USB was the message from his/their mother.

Pretty sure those aliens sent a message saying they were coming, no? Either way, dick move on their part, and would make it very awkward for them should humans become space fairing.

The USB was the message from his/their mother.
Must have been a chapter before I picked it back up, because I do not remember that at all, but thanks!

Real nice to see the end of this after all these years, MVP someone who liked one of my old comments on this series making me check again.

Was fun seeing two very black and white individuals mix together, my favorite work of the superhero genre (which I admittedly don't tend to like) hands down.

The og Ye Zimu lost all ability to connect with other people. Or rather, Ling Chen never gave him that ability in the first place in the og timeline. Ye Zimu and Ling Chen both lost their humanity in the original world. When Ye Zimu found out Ling Chen was Pan Luosi he didn't care about the personal betrayal, he only cared about how that made him an imperfect hero, and Ling Chen killed his only friend Jiang Xiao to cut himself off from humanity and focus single-mindedly on his goal. Also, Ye Zimu never allowed himself to change the same way Ling Chen did. Part of that is because he wasn't assimilated with his younger self the same way Ling Chen was and surrounded with the people who love him, and part of that is because his goal of upholding justice and being perfect is far less concrete and easily thwarted than Ling Chens goal of killing Ye Zimu.
