The ending was a bit, well, I didn't like the forced continuation of Devilman. Curiously, Violence Jack is mostly known for that, but I still really liked the series.

It was a unique experience.

The Devilman tie-in was kinda thrown in last minute and I'm not entirely sure if I like it or not, but the explanation for the characters being an incarnation of Satan's inner struggles was sort of interesting as a recontextualization of the series.
