Hm, I wonder if the "Birdmen" are a reference to something in particular. One of them looks like a monkey/ape of some sort, maybe that's a hint?
I figured they were supposed to be the Gachaman reference based on the suits. No idea what's up with one of them being an ape.Hm, I wonder if the "Birdmen" are a reference to something in particular. One of them looks like a monkey/ape of some sort, maybe that's a hint?

Oh that seems pretty open and shut to be the inspiration, thanks very much mang.Perman
It's mentioned before so I think it's common knowledge that this manga is actually based on Doraemon, and Raimon is Doraemon and his maid sister is Dorami right? And every single one of the tools shown in every chapter are based on specific Doraemon tools.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perman the birdmen are direct expies of this. One of the main character from Perman actually have recurring cameo in Doraemon (the actress Sumire Hoshino) and at one chapter she directly reference the ending of Perman (Mitsuo Suwa, the main character of the manga was called to join Birdman HQ and left earth) so it's often mentioned that Perman and Doraemon is set in the same universe.
What I'm always curious is which other Doraemon characters are the other main characters of the manga supposed to refer to (who are Shizuka, Nobita, Gian, etc).
What's up with Nagi, is that how she is in the raw
TLer has had this stupid ass theory that the world outside the Vivarium is also a vivarium, but made from some nerds that just wanted to make his shounen story "real" and that's also why they have no souls. The Vivarium is actual soulful original creativity, therefore have souls. But also releases the three main girls from the Doraemon. What I'm always curious is which other Doraemon characters are the other main characters of the manga supposed to refer to (who are Shizuka, Nobita, Gian, etc).
okay, I have to ask, what is this referencing? The birdmen won the war not because of their overwhelming strength...
But through the power of a fantastic improvisational jazz soundtrack that carries an otherwise just-okay movie!
"Birdman" is a 2014 movie that won a whole bunch of award.okay, I have to ask, what is this referencing?
Shizuka is Nagi with her bath addictionPerman
