Shonen Manga Maybe? You have an evil empire with questionable technology that destroyed nearly half the galaxy, 3 heroes from an unknown planet arrive to punish the invaders for love and justice blah blah blah.

Could also be Greek/Roman myths as well. Humans getting cocky and beating the gods in some way, only for them to punish them for their hubris.

It's mentioned before so I think it's common knowledge that this manga is actually based on Doraemon, and Raimon is Doraemon and his maid sister is Dorami right? And every single one of the tools shown in every chapter are based on specific Doraemon tools.

Someone answered the birdmen question before I woke up.
When I do the volume chapters, I'll put the collected Doraemon references in there, since I don't have the long diatribes about Champ Red being inconsistent with typesetting. I thought I should've put a page with the volume extras for volume 1, but TLer said it would be a bit much.

Also, Raimon's hair is back to being spikey, instead of the neat tail curl his had last chapter (which he had in the late part of the flashback in University but before he becomes a detective). Where Nisioishin when you need him to just snip it off?

TLer has had this stupid ass theory that the world outside the Vivarium is also a vivarium, but made from some nerds that just wanted to make his shounen story "real" and that's also why they have no souls. The Vivarium is actual soulful original creativity, therefore have souls. But also releases the three main girls from the Doraemon.
He will not drop the it's vivarium's all the way down (Up?) theory.

Gian is Stella with her brawn
Suneo is the mice because of their face i guess
Nobita is Obito because idk lmao
