The volume cover art for a manga can spoil what we can expect from future chapters. I think it would be nice if the volume art changes reflect the volume you're currently reading as to not potentially spoil future happenings. For example, a title I'm reading is only translated to Volume 11. But recently additional volume art has been added for the final volumes. The final cover in particular especially spoils what we can expect for future volumes. I mean, it was an obvious thing to have happen, but still.
So, I propose that the Volume art displayed to the user be dependent of whatever chapter they're read. So if you've read Volume 1, Chapter 7 you'll see the art for Volume 1. If you make it to Volume 2, chapter 12 or whatever the case may be it will now show the art/cover for Volume 2.
I mean, we have spoiler tags and a rule about spoilers being.. Well, spoiled. We should have something to prevent spoilers from the cover art, too.
Perhaps this isn't the answer to that, but it'd be nice if there were something.
