This all "just wanted to stay friends cuz we might have broken up if were to date" thing pisses me off so much. I've seen it quite a lot of times and it just doesn't make any sense. Do you think people can stay together forever "just as friends" that too in such high proximity? And I swear every mangaka uses that "divorced parents" to justify that kinda mentality of the said person. It's weird, no way you can be so short sighted. Friendships fall apart, not even blood relationships are guaranteed to persist. I know it's lame to get worked up about something so minor and insignificant but I had to at some point.
