Holy shit, they really did cut Yukari out of the story and replaced her with Himeki. We haven't seen her since the misunderstanding between her and Himeki on chapter 38. But why? Did she really run away after thinking she was betrayed?

Sotomura speaks really unnaturally, if only to perpetuate the gag of the manga. I mean who the hell speaks like that? (page 9 right side) H-"What do you do on rainy days?" S-"Since I can't go outside, I pretty much spend my free time just stringing them up." does that sound like the kind of sentence anyone would say normally? Stringing what up, rainy days? you are missing the subject of your sentence entirely, this is shit you should have learned in pre-k or elementary, it's the most basic fundament of speech universally.
