Recall the scene where Toudou is being jumped by Mukai, and she says "Hey, I have a girlfriend!" - Rin is that girlfriend. Which is different to all the other girls she's potioned, teased, been teased by, been beaten up by, flirted with, been molested by, almost been killed by, accidentally dated, accidentally fucked, deliberately fucked, and helped out in various ways - Rin is the only one of those that actually has any kind of explicitly and mutually agreed upon relationship with Toudou.

Whatever you might think about how healthy or otherwise their relationship may be or the reasons behind it, it's unquestionably different from anything else in the story, and that has weight.

I've been a bit self conscious about the amount of cursing, but I stand by it as a way to represent the rough manner of speech with which Itsumi and some of the others talk. You're not going to hear it out of Kurohime or Hikui, but for the likes of Banryuu and Mukai it feels fitting.

I think you're doing a solid job of it tbh, it reads naturally enough and in keeping with the tone and situational setting for the speakers. Whether actually cursing or not, the intended meaning is fairly universal and is quite accurately conveyed here imho. Thanks again for your good work~

The love potion does something but it was hinted that it was more of an inhibition loosener. It cant create feelings, only make people open to act on whats already there.

I think that it's more that the potion has less effect on someone who appreciates you and even less on someone who loves you. Like Tsubasa who had the effects for a week while barely knowing Toudou but Itsumi and the prez having it hardly for half an hour and Toudou just maybe a bit more with her besty. (Also it could explain why it was harder for it to work on Toudou toward her sister but highly effective on spirits who don't know her)
