Its fiction. Just go with the flow. They can set it any numbers they want 🤷🏻♀️wuts up with the years?
This chapter was just published in Japan two days ago. I've been eyeing this author for a bit as I'm working on their one-shot as well, posting soon™.
As the magazine it's published in is a monthly one (Gekkan Shonen Magazine), this will be updated monthly if there's a chapter available.
edit: Also, its in a shonen demo mag, but so not shonen IMO... if anything it feels very josei... any contributor updating the metadata, i leave it to you.
Edit#2: woops just noticed i edited the chapter title opening b/w page but I forgot about the final page ⚰️

In my defence its only this and the oneshot. Tbh, i rather not add anything as i find it quite 面倒... My dissapointment is real every time i searched and see the title isn't in the database 😂The person behind every title I click on in recently added![]()
😂 I'm a based translator, only do whatever I like. I do this as a way to destress the real life, there's no joy in doing things I dislike, isn't there? It does sometimes feel like you’re the one translating all the wistful things with special and different artstyles
me too, especially since this is their debut serialisation, I'm really very curious as well how they will drive this. Key thing is though, most works like this will become niche and sadly, people really need to buy the manga when it comes out for it to not get cancelled. Getting buried by mountains of long ass generic isekai and villainness slop or tons of those waifu slops are sad enough... and that's the reality, another one I'm translating, Ilvizora no Touhikou was just cancelled recently. Interesting, FULL COLOUR, not isekai slop fantasy, but low sales. Alas...Thanks for the chapter :D
I'm curious to see where this premise can be taken. Based on this first chapter, I'm fairly optimistic. I think the mangaka has what it takes to write stories with substance: I don't usually become this invested in a few characters after one chapter.
