It definitely seems like the 1st choice girl wants our MC and isn't really happy with her BF. Probably some BS forced to say yes or obligation thing, but for some reason it feels like this girl has some insanity.

First, thanks for the translation. Second I have some questions:
- page 3, bottom panel "Yanagi-senpai is very popular among girls, but he's very" -what exactly? Slow witted, thick headed, gay?
Is there a word missing or is it supposed to be open ended, like "..." which kinda works but is still confusing?
- page 8 last panel "Let's go to the club's" - that 's is possessive pronoun, so something that belongs to the club (club's reading room as an ex) so either there is something missing in the sentence or it's just "club".
- page 13 bottom panel "I don't mind being replaced by Hayasaka-san" - it makes even less sense if it's his speech but if it's hers wouldn't it make more sense as "I don't mind being Hayasaka-san's replacement", as in she knows he likes the other girl and is OK with being used to comfort him (which is ironic)?
- page 16 first panel "Besides, that would make the person you like" - what would it make them? Either you're missing half a sentence or the last two words should be swapped "[...] make the person like you" which is the point of flirting and aligns both with the her previous sentence and his reply.

The writing style is kinda' hectic either way but the above just bugged/confused me more so than the rest...

In page 1 "I've never told Hayasaka-san that I'm her first choice." what's that supposed to mean?
Also Hayasaka-san told the mc in page 5 of chapter 2.2 that the reason he don't get jealous is probably because he's unaware of her first choice identity, yet in this chapter he clearly mention the name of that senpai she likes when she picked up his phone and saw that other girl pictures on it in page 4.

Not sure if it's the translation that's bugging me a bit, but from what I could glim from this chapter.

It seems that even if they have this notion of only being each other's 2nd pick, the MC is still jealous of losing the FMC. However, I can understand him a bit, since his situation is different from FMC. The one MC likes already is in a relationship, while the one FMC likes doesn't.

Yeah, most likely to deter men, who they established she can't even touch. Probably a brother or something in her social media.

But if so, it feels like she would let him know that her social media is a lie, as she sees him like all her images. (which btw is very creepy thing to do before they started hanging out)
And I do understand the second choices jealousy over eachother, even if they aren't in love. What I don't get is why he was perfectly ok (no jealousy in the slightest) up until this chapter, where he suddenly started being super jealous as soon as his first pick joined. or something.

Like others said, overall it feels like I parse everything they say, but fail to parse anything about the story and how the pieces fits together. Things just don't mesh (at points directly contradicts each other, like him mentioning her crush by name despite her later thinking he doesn't know about the guy), and even the body language and panels sometimes seem contrary to what they are saying.

I think the last part referred to when he went over to hayasaka house when she was sick and he almost boned her after the kissing hugging etc.

He would pretend not knowing or even unaware of something to the readers, only to later reveals he actually knows all along and had been acting on that knowledge behind our back.
