Checked the manga raws and the novel, I thought more time had passed but the whole story happens in the span of 5 days + 1 for closure (everything big finished to happen the day before).

The count gets arrested for his purchase of illegal weapons, I thought he was fighting on some battlefields through the years but it seems that aside the war around the FMC mother death the world was at peace, and in his deranged mind he decided to stay in war and spent a good chunk of funds and reward money on wargames, got a separated villa/castle that didn't had memories of this first wife and the second one that was only good at opening her legs.

The Step-bitch gets arrested too, even she bought illegal stuff for her insane spending trips.
Step-sis-bitch is involved in a carriage incident for crazy dogs on the road too, she gets permanent scars on half her body and face, the prince after seeing her all bandaged and wounded loses all his "love", she will become a nun as her family have nothing and she herself lost any "value", scarred body, bad rumors, no noble etiquette, stupid.

The crown prince goes half crazy for the stress, he have to repay a massive debt, loses face in the noble community for his stupid actions and then loses all the fake love he had for the opportunist bitch, a maid enters his room and in a deranged state he pushes her to the ground, he realizes what happened after other servants stop him, vomits a week of food and then faints, when he wakes up the king remove the crown prince status and demote him to a count, that will have to pay back the debt from the frontier and is exiled from the capital.
Him and FMC sister regret their behaviour towards her, not simply a bad regret of "shouldn't have done this", really regret treating her badly.

The merchant got karmic punishment too, he didn't hurt the FMC but had lost his gratitude towards her after his merchant shop got saved from her intervention, he redeems himself by denouncing to the authorities the people traffiking the special cloth, that was developed in a neighbor country and forbidden to be sold outside, for helping the authorities and denouncing himself he didn't got punished but only fined, but it was huge fines and we could say he have to restart anew, but with a clean conscience, he wanted to give the last of the money to the family but was told not to as it had fell and to give it to charity instead.

A big surprise was that the dog incidents, the traffiking of the cloth, luxury goods and weapons were all from the same group, people under the emperess of the masked prince nation, it was all to saboutage countries with internal strife, they did even more damage than what we have seen.

And to end it...yes, FMC lived, she was visiting a horphanage and the stress of everything in her life and the engagement cancellation finally made her got a fever, she stayed days in bed unconscious, the incident was organized from the trafficant group because she was too smart and was going against their action in bringing douwn one of the biggest merchants.

The dead body was a maid that step-bitch put on her like a hound dog, and step-bitch likely forgot, thinking she died too in the incident, the maid was corrupted and wanted to visit a noble meeting when camouflaged like the FMC, to do noble things and bring down her name, she hated how from her point of view the FMC had everything when she was born a commoner, anyway the dogs made a incident happen and she died with her face smashed from the debris and noble clothes on the family carriage, the steward was gravely injured too and couldn't tell what happened.

i think that given how much stuff happend a month would have been more credible, but the FMC never planned for the fall of her family, she was the supporting pillar and that was the natural consequence, if the time was longer she would have recovered and put things straight.

Uuuh I'm not sure about all this. So the true big bad is the empress of the other prince's nation? And she gets away destabilizing this nation?

a big bad, but the MC family being evil and corrupted is their own thing.
The trafficking of cloth and other forbidden goods wouldn't have gone anywhere if the nobles and merchants didn't buy it, the empress merchant company was selling the goods with the objective of blackmailing the clients later, so had the step-bitch never spent the family fortune on that stuff things would have gone better and she wouldn't be one of the villains.
The bitch-sister and the prince plans too weren't for the empress, they did everything on their own.
The father was a broken man, he is for me the only reasonable villain of the story, a hardened warriro that only knew how to fight, maybe he really loved MC mother and she passing away broke him, or the horror of the war did, when he got pitied he liked the feeling, and after fighting and winning he got praised, making him tunnel vision on wargames and playign the sad man part, of course, maybe he was a piece of crap from the start, no flashbvack to show him befor ethe first wfe died, can't say.

Which is why I hate that noble or royal sons can just break off their engagements for some rando trick they met on the street or in school. Noble and royal marriage engagements are contracts. You can just unilaterally break it off for quote, unquote, ‘true love’ without consequences. And the princes usually have shadows or guards, yet they refuse to give the king and queen heads up about their child’s unreliability. BS.
Also, you hate your fiancé because she’s stiff, prim & proper. But she’s been taught royal etiquette and how to conduct oneself especially with the country and foreign figures of importance are concerned. You just follow your own fancies without regard to what your position entails and what you require to be worthy of it.

Lets not also forget about how they LOVE to accuse their STBX of being "power hungry" to be Queen/Empress because you know "they were doing what was to be EXPECTED of a FUTURE Crown Princess---->Queen/Empress" which makes it suck that they did all that hard work, just for the other half to moronically show themselves LESS

where the Prince had the NERVE after exiling the FMC/Ex-Fiancee to expect her family to STILL SUPPORT HIM because "they were his mother's friend" (The head of the house FMC mother) only to get told off by his Mother and a speech about VALUE (Frankly speaking the moron didn't get it was FMC FAMILY and the engagement that got him the Crown Prince title, without her and having HUMILATED her and her family at that publically. He lost his ONLY MAJOR SUPPORTER that JUSTIFIES the title AND showed everyone that well they'll be thinking "who the fuck wants THIS moron as KING!!") and what the idiot PRESUMED is if he FOUND FMC and "apologized" somehow her family would have to SUPPORT him and his new fiancee is a fucking NARC who's only value was her HEALING MAGIC and nothing else, not political wise, nothing, she was a NARC as I said who thought she deserved the Queen position on account of "being cute and healing magic" even ARROGANTLY thinking the best FMC could get was being a Pawn because it hasn't dawned on HER yet that the Prince was going to get DOWNGRADED to Mid Ranking Nobility (Got to LOVE when that happens and the "Homewrecker" can only witness in horror as the royal family "give blessing to their marriage" meaning she is now ENGAGED to a Mid Rank Noble, bonus points if instead of a Baroness, their a middle of the road noble, as the ranking they'll get as the wife will be LOWER then their current Ranking! Meaning He's NOW A DOWNGRADE).

While the LN concluded with him humilated after doing a stupid MAJORLY BIGGER AND WORSE THEN THE BREAK UP (trying to help a COUP to a HOLY KINGDOM allied to his Kingdom, failing and being FINGERED as apart of it) the story speaks no more of him and the "Homewrecker" never appeared much AGAIN! The Manga had to EXPAND on her by adding HATEABLE scenes of her (Namely she's a NARC who thinks she deserves EVERYTHING because she HAPPENED to get HEALING as a Skill, and even DESIRES the SAINTESS Title that the FMC decided to make her endgoal after the first chapter as a "F you" to the Prince who called her Dark Shaman class "Creepy" and a JUSTIFICATION for why he's breaking up with her. As said "he did everything all around a SKILL" when it's more CLEAR he's just a LOSER who hated how much MORE capable FMC was and assumed he'd MARRY Healer girl because "Look its HEALING! And Look how nice she is....despite the fact even I look down on her and KNOW she'll never OUTSHINE ME" (without again THINKING this means he DOWNGRADED, and that is NOT a good showing to the Nobility and Royal Family as it shows just how INCAPABLE he is, never getting he was ONLY engaged to FMC as a "Twofer" as they get the power of a powerful family and the Husband being the Captain of their elite guard, and FMC was capable so SHE will lead, and he keeps the BLOODLINE with their family!) Hell FMC only wanted the SAINTESS title next to BEING overpowered, it would be a HUGE fuck you to her Ex since he'll look like a FOOL for "losing and EXILING the SAINTESS" (Since it's rare and she is the only one who knows how to UNLOCK IT, it will look like she ALWAYS was destined to be Saintess and makes the Prince a BIGGER LOSER for trading what was ALREADY a Diamond for FOOLS GOLD as Healer is uncommon, but still basically a "Beginner Class" of the Saintess, not ASSURED you'll get it, but it's not very impressive if FMC gets the Saintess class

Some stories at least try to JUSTIFY how the Prince got away with their actions. A Good few even show CONSEQUENCES for the Prince (like the story I mentioned in that Spoilers!) I think the BEST example was that one with the FMC reincarnating as the Villainess with only 24 Hours left to change her fate as the HEROINE already has the REVERSE HAREM route set up by REMOVING all the Heroine's LOVE INTERESTS off the table, assuring only her STBX would be left to make a FOOL of himself. Funny enough FMC notes if the Villainess HAD used the resources AFFORD TO HER AS A DUKE'S DAUGHTER ENGAGED TO ROYALITY she'd have won! Such as FIRING her Butler who was a traitor and one of the love interest's, DESTROYING his evidence and ruining him as you know getting fired from a life position with no Rec letter means his career working with nobles is OVER. Though to be fair, bad as OG Vilainess may be, he as her butler is suppose to be on HER SIDE, so he commited treason and she isn't really WRONG for firing him. Assassin, used herself as bait and got him imprison by PISSING him off and having him go YANDERE! As she noted, it doesn't change the fact his STORY ends with a HAPPY EVER AFTER for a KILLER of many innocent people, so she just assured he was going to DIE executed as a criminal like what SHOULD have happened. I liked by the end she EVEN went to the Royal family and REVEALED her STBX cheating to them as sometimes their ususally CAUGHT OFF GUARD with the "Annulment" and have no choice but to BACK the idiot's decision! But by going to them BEFORE HAND, they are PREPARED and with her evidence (she had her STBX followed and the idiot COULDN'T resist doing it with the Heroine, so she has PICTURE evidence of his cheating) they ANNUL it for her and engage her to the second prince who ALWAYS loved her anyway. They plan to make Moron's Anullment into a PUNISHMENT/HUMILATION for him before making it OFFICIAL along with him LOSING his CP status and annouce FMC NEW engagement and the Second prince Rise to CP while the OLD one gets exiled to a "Crusade" to "redeem himself" (AKA hopefully he DIES, boy did THAT bite them in the ass as he didn't die, and sold out some of their forces, now their stuck HOUSE ARRESTING him at the end)

Best part is FMC told him that if he had ISSUES, he could have TALKED TO HER, instead of DECIDING to "Destroy her" as it always turns out thy hated the Villainess for petty STUPID reasons and made a RASH decision based on stupid idiotic factors that again "MORE THEN PROVE" they are UNWORTHY of the POSITION of CROWN PRINCE (much less KING-Emperor) as you can imagine this is going to cause a CLUSTER FUCK (since he can be STOLEN AWAY easily, then ANYONE can do it, and he is basing his actions off of WHIMS. In the end, as said, the fact as she said "THEY COULD HAVE TALKED IT OUT AND HE HAD REFUSED TO DO SO, going on to HATING HER like a petty JERK and wanting to ruin her" So many have the EX "regretting" their decision once it becomes CLEAR it was done RASHLY)
