I was thinking maybe she still had some songs leftover, but then why did it take so long for Otogawa to release the finished version? Maybe they were incomplete so he had to fill in the blanks, or he just felt like adjusting them a bit. If Arika is still out there, it could be that she's secretly still communicating with him and sending him new lyrics, but I'm thinking that's less likely.

Imo maybe Chihiro is the one who helps Otogawa with the lyrics now, and how she do it is by communicating with Arika whom she either hides or know her whereabouts. Because the way I see it all other characters has revealed their true selves, except Chihiro. She never gotten full focus and how she was bullied by her idol peers makes a good cover up for the narratives while also giving her motives to.. well, whatever her endgame is.

I think the question is if Arika continued writing songs. My guess is that she didn't and instead all the "new" songs are just songs from the ones she made before she disappeared released over time. I'm betting he was closest to Arika and realized who Nana was which is why he's telling her. He probably realized something was going on with the other girls but was too fearful of his secret being leaked to ever come out with it.

I think Otogawa saw references to Nana in Arika's work often. Arika always wrote stuff on her word processor as it she was sending it to Nana. Nana was always Arika's star she looked up to.

I don't think the author would show us hints about Nana's real name for no reason.
