Thanks for the chap. I wonder where this plot is going. It seems more

like the Otaku and the wife have a burgeoning romance - so does it all just boil down to him bringing her back to reality because clearly the Isekai portion is all in her head as a grief reaction

Such a good chapter. Both parents have a different way to cope. Psychology on the father’s side is on point. He’s just as devastated about his kid’s death as her, he’s just doesn’t know that. Still not a good person dont get me wrong, but as he only knows about violence, he will seek violence for solitude. Teasing he’s also an abusive piece of shit as well xd

Well seeing as Dobura can't fight and its kinda implying he's gonna use violence to make mio see his way this is gonna get hectic.

The "Goofy Time" when he finds Mio and Doubara will be epic.

This is why you use cash.

This chapter "would" make the father more sympathetic, but he decides to
beat the ever loving hell out of our MC in a later chapter. F this guy.

Lol no. Haruji's not grieving. He, and his mom, exhibit the classic signs of narcissism. https://www.dukehealth.org/blog/9-signs-of-narcissistic-personality-disorder

  1. Sense of self-importance
  2. Preoccupation with power, beauty, or success
  3. Entitled
  4. Can only be around people who are important or special
  5. Interpersonally exploitative for their own gain
  6. Arrogant
  7. Lack empathy
  8. Must be admired
  9. Envious of others or believe that others are envious of them
He sees his son's death only in the context of how it affects him and how he's viewed by others.

I think Haruji's definitely grieving. Just look at how he reacted when his mother said the thing about having another child.
