Okay, I owe the mermaid girl an apology, I'm stupid and JUST NOTICED why she keeps repeatedly saying that she wants to eat the MC, that actually makes the MC hopeful someone is going to killer her so she gets attached to her, the mermaid girl might be creepy but if she REALLY wanted to eat the MC then she didn't have to announce any of this.

She might still want to eat the MC, however, if she DOESN'T want to eat the MC, she can try to convince the MC to love her then "live for me" or some shit (or just go to therapy but those don't exist in yuri mangas), then both of then can live together happy or something

She didn't even get ANY character development, I just completely misunderstood her character lmao
(she's still creepy, but in a way MC likes ig)
