I had to re-read some of the older ones to remember what was going on.

I wonder how they are going to keep the original story on track.

It's not the translation the translation is the same, the fact is that Genztoons is more professional, typesetting is much better and they have proofreaders.

Example:

Page 1 Lazysetter : As I previously announced today / WE WILL HOLD A MEETING FOR THE CLASS COMPETITION.
Page 1 Genztoons: As announced before / WE'LL BEGIN THE MEETING FOR THE CLASS COMPETITION.

Page 2 Lazysetter : ANYONE WHO SAYS THEY'LL LOSE AND IS ACTING DISCOURAGED WILL BE CRUSHED!
Page 2 Genztoons: THOSE GUYS PROBABLY SLACKED OFF AND THOUGHT THAT WE'LL LOSE ANYWAY SO LET'S PROVE THEM OTHERWISE!

Genztoons feels better to read, because as opposed to lazysetter, GenzToons likely have native english speaker.
MTL's have the problem of being more formal.
But in both cases the idea behind the translation is the same, but GenzToons for having proofreaders and better typesetting makes the chapter more readable.
People often blame MTL's, but the tools for it improved a lot recently, and you have dictionaries to work with when it's just a case of not knowing english and experience.

Yeah i know, i didn’t specify that hated it because of mtl, i dabble in it too, The thing is I’m quite proficient in English. l’m not a hardcore nitpicker, even if it sounds formal for a translation it’s still fine by me, i just want it to be readable/ understandable, if you fail to do that at least, whether it’s mtl or not does not matter it’s still unreadable.
like i said i don’t have a problem with ch38 because i understood what they were saying so when genztoons released it after i didn’t find a need to reread it, but ch39 was the issue so that’s why I’m grateful for this higher quality chapter

It looks like the story is moving according to the route if player choices female protagonist. That why yuuma is a side character here
