The fact that she was basically approaching him all this time while having a boyfriend and (most likely) only breaking up with him in the middle of her trying to get to MC, is a big red flag.

At first I thought that MC was just being an unreliable narrator and he wasn't actually her boyfriend but if that guy is seriously her boyfriend then that girl is just no good.
