People who think that your skin feels significantly cooler in dry heat as opposed to humid heat have NEVER lived in semi-arid/aird places. Though the immediate discomfort is much less pronounced, IT'S STILL HOT. Also, hot air is so much harder to breathe in, sometimes you feel like even if you gasp for air, not enough oxygen is entering your body. Not only that but thin layers of skin like that of the lips or nostrils become so dry that even the slightest movement like a smile or a sniff can cause bleeding. Oh you have allergies? Good fucking luck. Not to mention the dehydration rates. In short, heat sucks, summer sucks, cold is much better.
