Wtf is going on with this series?

I think it switched official publishers and I'm assuming some intern is sporadically uploading old chapter to push readers to watch the anime currently airing.

For the better part of two years there was a gap between the scanlations and the previous official publishers releases. A very kind TL finally went in and filled the gap right before the anime released.

Overall it's a great series and my most anticipated show this season. It might be slated as some sort of Japan tourism advert, but that doesn't make it any less enjoyable to me. Marie is so adorable dopey in the first ep, I was grinning most of the show.

The licensor is still J-Novel, they just have a partnership with Azuki since a while ago, so Azuki upload the individual chapters from J-Novel releases, while J-Novel just focus on the volumes, they just released Volume 9 on December, so the gap was always already filled if you well, purchased the volumes lol, the anime doesn't really have much to do with it
