Page 11 too little too late, once a traitor, always a traitor. Page 15 don't thank her, she part of why you were in this position in the first place. She chose 3 idiots whose on families didn't want anything to do with over someone she considered a close friend. But of course the MC doesn't do what anyone betrayed would do and cut her out because this is shounen slop.

Bikini bitch going "I'm sorry I betrayed you, but I did it for the three members left. I could have just moved the guild to a smaller town. But I am a fucking moron."
The punishment she should actually get for treason (which is what a coup is) is death.
I want her to die she is so useless. She was only the vice-commander since Vigor wanted to fuck her.

You're missing the point entirely about Katie. The betrayal happened because she lacked something essential, which is necessary to create drama. Without that vulnerability, it would just be a typical, boring shounen story about the power of friendship.

However, you can't have a character act illogically and betray others without proper motivation. That's why I said it wasn't bad writing. She had her reasons, shaped by her nature, which made her actions plausible.

The readers were expecting her to stick with the usual shounen nonsense about the power of friendship, even though this approach is much more realistic.
My issue isn't with Katie arc but with how the manga tries to make us empathize with her without giving enough information

What's more in a later chapter for some reason the knights end up causing more of an issue, which contradicts the fact that the mom was able to break in so easily at first
