I liked this chapter! His response at the beginning makes a lot of sense, and it was interesting seeing her come think about the things that Fuji has been thinking about this whole time. But also it seems ridiculous that she hasn't thought about any of this stuff even once...

I'm not sure how I feel about her being able to see the string. I'm glad it's there as a catalyst for her to try to start thinking about romance for herself for once, but I also feel like it isn't yet actually challenging her perceptions of that fate at all? I almost wish that she and Fuji had the opposite experiences with the string - - wouldn't it be more interesting to see her frantically trying to figure out what to do if the person she loves wasn't tied to her string of fate? Rather than us having to witness Fuji's current emo boi phase...
