Aww. It's kinda making my heart melt. Maybe I'm just a huge sucker for "I can fix him" stories (well, who isn't), but there's definitely something charming about our MC alone being able to help him.
Also, that teeniest tiniest glimpse of how he was before the curse is just depressing...
