Blown away by the art! First of all the established style is so flexible with the gag art / movement / facial expressions and so on. Colour choice is perfect, the background is DRAWN, and it's not the usual trendy style of drawing the characters. The characters are beautiful but in a way that realistically shows individual beauty (perfect for the premise + theme) and whew I don't have to rely on hair or diction (or whether jaw shape is a little different) to tell who is who.

Is it bad that to me some styles come off as too vain in it's anime-realism to the point of same face syndrome?

It's the breathe of fresh air that I've been waiting for.

p.s. God seeing proper children instead of chibis. I need to follow the artist.

post post script: I'm obsessed with how the artist shifts from super stylized -> regular -> somewhat-realistic depending on the mood/imprtance. Also the panels highlighting standout features such as Nayul's right eye while other parts of the face were off panel. I'm satisfied from the art direction alone.
