That’s because I have absolutely no literary talent whatsoever, and a brief plot summary is also a form of literature. Especially a brief plot summary.
If I strain every fibre of my being, this is what I come up with: The main character, a young man and a notorious womaniser, travels around Japan and meets various women. They are all, to a greater or lesser extent, unhappy, and he offers them all a brief moment of comfort or gives them the impetus to carry on with their lives. It seems to me that he isn’t particularly happy himself, but I prefer to read along with the final translation of each chapter rather than translating the entire tankōbon in draft form all at once, so I can’t say anything about the plot beyond the fifth chapter.
That said, this is the main plot. In the third chapter, the womaniser isn’t there, and the situation is turned on its head.
It would be great if someone could write a proper description.
