I was feeling slightly bad for Gahui losing her foretold romance...
Then this chapter made it so much easier to ship her with her bff Sojeong. It's not realistically that likely both are sapphic. Still it's convenient, it fits the timeline and would make this the best timeline for Sojeong instead of being an accessory role with no final act arc. And their interactions are only getting cuter.
Gahui not trusting her parents or staff to back her up points to a really screwed up power balance I'm guessing won't ever be addressed.
