To be fair the whole month she's been here she's been taught by the mc that everything she will hear, see, or do in this new world will not be the same. And she has had plenty experiences with comparing the different standards beetween now and then. Like the fight not even being a fight to her, current fashion choices, commoners being able to call people to deliver food, the peace, the delicious food everywhere and the concept of girlfriends.

Maybe it's not that she doesn't know about it. It's more that she doubts what she knew. Hence the googlings.

I don't think its that unrealistic of a question. She still doesn't quite grasp all the nuance of modern culture and the gender roles of 800 AD Tang Dynasty China would be vastly different from the modern day, so simple questions like what are normal activities between a man and a woman now are things she really wouldn't have any basis for understanding
